 A diet rich in Omega-3 fatty acids was related to better physical and emotional quality of life of Patients with Squamous Cell Lung Cancer and comorbid depression.  Higher intake of Omega-3 fatty acids resulted in significantly increased scores for physical functioning, emotional functioning, insomnia, and constipation.  Dietary interventions emphasizing Omega-3 fatty acids may supplement therapy and help manage symptoms for Patients with Squamous Cell Lung Cancer and comorbid depression.
